Founded in 1985, Turtle Creek Association plays a key role in advocating support for the environmental health at Turtle Creek Corridor. Located less than 10 minutes north of Downtown Dallas, this beloved Urban Forest and Creek neighborhood is at the heart of a growing premier community.

Led by President/CEO J.D Trueblood, Turtle Creek Association is proactive, driven and has a 5 year strategic plan set in place. It consists of enhancing, protecting the natural beauty, landscapes and stabilization of the creek's banks. The plan of action addresses pollution control, restoring bridges, improving safety and introducing cultural art. Both private and public efforts are catalysts to the growth and continued success of this pioneering non profit. It is home to loyal supporters that aid through contributions such as memberships, donations and fundraising events. A highlight for 2022 is their 21st annual Tour of Homes. The “Living Large” tour takes its visitors into their dream homes for an exclusive look at the fine architecture and surrounding green luxurious neighborhood. A few steps from the renown Katy Trail, it gives visitors a glimpse at the urban hidden gem located in the midst of a booming metroplex. The residential homes range in architectural varieties from Contemporary Living to Historic Modern.

Classified as the Turtle Creek Association spotlight event of the year, Tour of Homes Benefit Reception took place at the dazzling venue of The Perot Companies. This included access to visit the impeccable Perot Museum and Legacy Hall which displayed phenomenal memorabilia. A glamorous red carpet welcomed the guests as they entered the building into the eloquently arranged candlelight seating. The evening started with a talented performance by Booker T. Washington Jazz Band whose balanced tempos paired well with the tasty dining spread. As part of the evening, an energetic Live Auction feature was vibrant and included items exclusive to Tour of Homes Benefit. .

The flowing atmosphere captivated the synergy of the comprehensive vision that resides at the center of this organization. As the night concluded, the Silent Auction reinforced the ongoing advocacy within the community. Environmental health is a top leading priority rapidly gaining worldwide attention and Turtle Creek Association is top tier when it comes to adapting and evolving. This event emphasizes the exciting developmental phase that is present at Turtle Creek Corridor. The sensational Tour of Homes Benefit Reception complemented the admirable cause, mission and vision that defines Turtle Creek Association.
