As a woman minority entrepreneur, business owner, nutritionist, and registered dietician, Nicole Khan knows a thing or two about helping others. In fact, this is the very cause she’s dedicated her life to through her company Lanai Hemp.

Her journey into the hemp industry began after watching her mom suffer from excruciating foot pain caused by being on her feet all day as a fine jewelry associate. Nicole had a hard time seeing her mother endure this each day and spent countless hours trying to find a way to cure her pain. That is until she found CBD and bought a tincture from a local company. Within mere moments Nicole’s mother was praising the product and saying she felt better than she had in some time.

Though she had finally found an effective product for her mom’s pain, this still left Nicole wondering how she would be able to afford it, as CBD was still pretty expensive back then. Fast forward a bit, and Nicole met with the manufacturer of the tincture brand she had purchased. He proved to be one of her biggest pillars of support and gave her the push she needed to get started.
